Dallas's motto, "Live Large, Think Big," symbolizes the glittering, towering downtown that merges magnificent skyscrapers with renowned arts organizations such as the Nasher Sculpture Center. The surrounding metropolitan area includes the towns of Fort Worth and Arlington, as well as more than 20,000 acres of grassy parkland. The lovely Fair Park is an excellent starting point for outdoor recreation, as is popular White Rock Lake. The Six Flags amusement park, Hurricane Harbor, lies in nearby Arlington, and the Dallas Zoo is the largest zoo in all of Texas.
